New Volunteer Opportunities at QAS
Stewardship & Evangelization Commission Member
Are you a natural leader and planner? This volunteer promotes Stewardship and Evangelization Commission Work. She or he will oversee and collaborate on commission activities, recruit and train individuals to serve as members or activity helpers. This person will work with leaderhsip to complete the objectives of the commission and parish plans. The volunteer is committed to prayer and the spiritual life, gives time, talent, and treasure both witin and outside the parish. She or he collaborates and works well with others, is highly engaged as a member of Queen of All Saints and is a Catholic in good standing. Location: Legacy Center or online Time Commitment: 3 hours/month
Parish Care Caller
Do you like to encourage others? This volunteer will make phone calls to parishioners for well-being checks, ask about prayer and sacramental needs, inform parishioners of upcoming activities at the parish, and complete a follow-up form for each call. A care caller is a relationship builder, empathetic, courteous on the phone and has a basic understanding of computer date entry. Location: Work-From-Home Time Commitment: 15 minute bi-weekly call for each person on the list
Prayer Team Member
Do you believe in the power of prayer? This volunteer prays for the intercession of others, for all to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and for the success of Alpha. She or he has an active personal prayer life, is able to provide intercessory prayer, is a relationship builder and communicator. Welcoming New Members
Do you want to develop new friendships? The person volunteering to welcome others is hospitable and welcoming, a communicator, and is able to travel locally and plan. She or he will deliver New Member Welcome Packets, invite new members to Mass and parish events/activities, assist with planning and implementing a reception for new members of our parish. Ministry Member Recruitment
Do you want to provide and example to others by sharing your time and talents? The person volunteering for as a recruiter for ministry membership is an influencer, likes to connect with others, is able to gather details to disseminate information to others and then provides follow-up, and is courteous on the phone. She or he will call parish members to explain volunteer opportunities and personally invite them to help. If you are interested in this opportunity, contact Jim Welborne at [email protected].

Spirituality of Stewardship Course Co-Facilitator
Do you like to learn and share information with others? This person co-facilitates four classes for the Spirituality of Stewarship course for the Saints Academy. This involves and opening prayer, showing a video, facilitating a discussion, and leading an activity for the participants. She or he is a communicator, able to lead a small group discussion and encourage participation, and is a learner who is responsible. Parish Support Center Volunteer
We are looking for a volunteer to answer phones, greet visitors and provide general assistance with parish programs. This is an opportunity to offer stewardship to your parish while getting to know your parish staff and community members. The work isn’t difficult but much needed in our busy support center. It would be a regularly scheduled weekly shift sometime Wednesday – Friday with flexible hours! We would help you learn the ropes. Do you like to serve others in the parish and share a story or two? Consider helping at the Legacy Cafe each week by serving coffee, tea, and a special treat. Parishioners who visit are looking for a warm welcome and something delicious! This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy a conversation and reconnect while reflecting on the weekend's Mass. You'll be serving parish life through food and fellowship! All are welcome to volunteer and training is provided for new helpers. Questions?
