State Convention

Bruce, Jim Whelan and Marty Campanella attended the state convention on May 5-7.  In the news:

• Challenge to State Secretary was defeated.
• Discussion of the women’s care center initiative.
• And of course, lots of money for Gibault. (Each council brought a check. Total about $89,000+)
• Marty was elected/appointed one of the ten delegates from Indiana to the KofC Supreme Convention in Orlando in August.

We actually won the Gibault raffle twice, once $250 on the raffle itself and the second time on the raffle amount those councils which had sold more than 250 tickets.
