School Choice

ReadingSchool choice or voucher programs allow parents to use all or part of the government funding set aside for their children's education to send their children to the public or private school of their choice. In effect, this separates government financing of education from government operation of schools. Most programs allow parents to send their children to either religious or non-religious private schools.

School Choice Indiana is committed to providing all children access to quality educational opportunities, no matter where they live or how much money they have. Indiana’s voucher program gives Hoosier families the opportunity to send their children to a school that best meets their learning needs.

PSAS Applications are now on the Diocese of Gary website. Please encourage/remind all Catholic families to apply for tuition assistance, even if they know they will not be eligible now to receive anything. They may need assistance in the future and we can only help those who have completed applications through PSAS. The applications are accepted throughout the school year. Click here.
