One Percent

What is the 1% Challenge?

The 1% Challenge is an invitation to encounter Jesus. It is a way to commit to daily personal prayer with Christ, read His word and take quiet time to sit, process and listen to God's will. In our busy lives, it can be difficult to make prayer a priority. However, if we start with just 15 minutes each day, you will get to know Jesus, create a daily habit and develop a strong relationship with Him. That all starts with only 1% of your day! For the next 30 days, we invite you to devote at least 1% of your day to God in a quiet, continuous prayer time.

How do I get started?

Get started by making an appointment with God! Yes, put it in your calendar! The best time to schedule it is a time when you will have the least amount of distractions. Choose a quiet location, a prayer chair or visit the Christ the King Adoration Chapel and spend some quality time with Jesus.
